Corruption Conduct In the Department of Home Affairs


The National Anti-Corruption Commission (the Commission) has today published an investigation report into Operation Kingscliff, finding corrupt conduct by a Senior Executive Service officer in the Australian Department of Home Affairs (Home Affairs) on multiple occasions. 


Corruption doesn’t always come in envelopes. Sometimes, it’s disguised as “helping someone out.”

This is also an insider threat, not in the form of data theft or sabotage, but the quiet misuse of power and trust from within.
